EUROPE- AN 2000 Of all the places I’ve been the most memorable experience is definitely my trip to Europe in 2000. After my undergrad I decided to take a year to figure out what I wanted to do, and the one thing I knew for sure was that I wanted to go back to France (having not been back in 8 years) and so, out of the blue, with only 3 weeks to prepare, I decided to go. I can’t remember everything that happened although I did keep a diary (and it took me just under 2 years to get my photos developed- shocking, I know!). But here are some of my favorite places that I went, and some of the people I caught up with and met while I was there… =)
France
Germany
Czech Republic
Italy
France (again)
Spain (the best part and the craziest, only because Krystyna & I tried to cram 2 weeks of travel into 10 days)
14th July, St Fermin Festival, the atmosphere was so cool (and I swear I saw Joshua ‘Pacey from Dawson’s Creek’ Jackson) at the train station just before we heading off to San Sebastien…
France (yet again) I somehow managed to ‘forget’ to take photos of some people I saw while I was there (and it’s something I’m very annoyed about), I have no idea why, but oh well, another excuse to go back I suppose…
Other Bits and Pieces (Autres Informations)
For some reason I don’t have many photos of friends from Narrabundah, St Anns and stuff like that (because I don’t have a camera with me!), but here are ones I actually have copies of…
Oh, and, if you look under the ‘Did We Get Married’ you can see some photos of me as Tash’s bridesmaid… My Musical Adventures OK, so by now everyone probably already knows what a massive Something for Kate (SFK) fan I am, and, to prove it, I’ve seen them perform/met them 9 times since Homebake 2000. I have managed to make a complete fool of myself in front of them though… but it’s all good! I also have ‘Beautiful Sharks’ & ‘Echolalia’ on vinyl which I’m very proud about (even though we don’t even have a record player anymore…!) and of course, ‘action man paul’ doll (made from an ‘action man’ figure) because Darryl didn’t know what to get me for my birthday!
