ME… & MY PASSIONS
(MOI… & CE QUE J’AIME DANS LA VIE)
OK,
As much as I love technology I’m about as clueless as they come, and since
Tash and Russell have let me add a bit on their homepage I thought it would be a
good way to tell you more about who I am & what makes me tick...
My 3 big passions in life are all things French, music, and people. Ever since pre-school I’ve been learning French, and it’s something I couldn’t imagine having never done- it’s so much a part of who I am, and makes me understand why I react to things the way I do (if that makes any sense at all…)
I guess something that’s related to France & I love is movies. Some of my favorite movies are French, my favorite being ‘l’Appartement’ (Vincent Cassel, Romane Bohringer & Monica Belluci). Other ones include ‘Le Diner de Cons’ (‘The Dinner Game’, 1999- the ultimate in those comedy of errors), ‘Une Liaison Pornographique’ (‘A Pornographic Affair’- Nathalie Baye & Sergi Lopez), ‘Amelié’ & ‘Les Rivières Poupres’ (‘The Crimson Rivers’- Jean Reno & Vincent Cassel). Another excellent movie that I saw (as part of the French film festival) is ‘Le Pacte des Loups’ (‘The Brotherhood of the Wolf’ with Vincent Cassel as well!) which is actually based on a true story. Some other movies I love (non-French) are ‘High Fidelity’, ‘Clueless’, ‘Central Station’ , ‘Run Lola Run’, & ‘Memento’ (that I can think of!) oh, and I really enjoyed ‘Fight Club’.
Another thing that I’m passionate about (although I admit to being a complete novice when it comes to it all)- is music. Australian music in particular- I don’t know how to explain it- there’s just something about it… very cool.
And last, but not least, it’s people. The people I’ve met have had some of the most interesting & amazing lives and experiences that I love hearing about peoples adventures through life…
Other things I’m also interested in are the environment (mainly recycling), the amazing beauty of nature, and travel (which kind of goes without saying…)
Je n’ai beaucoup trop changé mais il faut dire que je suis toujours passionée par le français, la musique, l’environment et le tourisme. J’aime bien aussi rencontrer des nouvelles personnes- surtout quand ils ont des histoires interessantes à raconter…
