My name is Curtis Jeremiah Weatherburn and I was born on Friday, 9 November 2001 at 12.56am. I'm still pretty new to this world but it's really interesting (or what I've seen of it anyway). My mummy and daddy live with me in my house near the lake. Sometimes I take mummy walking around it, but I'm not stupid... I get her to push the pram! I've got 4 cousins, Drew, Reece, Brynna, and Kaitlyn, but mummy told me that I'll be getting another one in September, so that should be exciting. Anyway, it's time to sleep now so I should get going before daddy gets me into trouble. Bye!

 

Hi, My name is Natasha Gabrielle Weatherburn. I am wife to Russell and mum to Curtis. I work full-time at the ACCC (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission) in Dickson ACT. I normally work in the Infocentre answering questions via phone about the Trade Practices Act, Consumer Protection issues and anti-competitive conduct issues. Currently however, I'm on a temporary promotion/transfer to the Adjudication branch who deals with granting immunity to court action under the Trade Practices Act to those who apply for authorisation or submit notifications. My role is to transfer data from the 'old' system to the 'new' system which will be linked to the internet so that everyone will be able to see who's submitted what and whether the conduct they're alleging is in fact something they or we can institute legal proceedings against. I think it's going to be fantastic! My life is pretty busy apart from work though. I'm mum to a 16 month old boy (a real cutie, but an absolute cheeky monkey as well!), and I like to get out a bit by going to Trivia Nights on Tuesday nights at P.J. O'Reilly's in Tuggeranong, and also like to go to Home Group through my local church on Wednedsay nights. My father and step-mom have a stall at Kingston Markets on Sundays and they sell wood carvings. For the past couple of weeks, I've joined them keeping them company and designing a few new items for them to make and sell. 

 

My name is Russell Peter Weatherburn. I am husband of Natasha and father of Curtis. For the record, I don't get Curtis into trouble, but he keeps stealing (via his mother) my computer! I currently work at Geoscience Australia in the Remote Sensing section, which involves acquiring and archiving satellite imagery data. As a Data Support Technician, I ensure that the systems run and all the imagery data is available. I have 2 sisters who are both married, 2 nephews and 3 neices. My mother and sisters (and their families) live in Sydney suburbs, while my father has moved to Coffs Harbour.
